Go Filings is not affiliated with any government agency. We are a private company that offers services to prepare and and/or assist in filing forms and documents. Generally, our service fees do not include government agency fees, and you can file directly through an issuing government office for free or for a reduced fee if you’d like. 

Please read these Terms and Conditions very carefully. The Terms and Conditions of sales are limited to those contained herein. Any additional or different terms or conditions in any form delivered by you (“Customer”) are hereby deemed to be material alterations and notice of objection to them and rejection of them is hereby given. By accepting our services, place an order of our website, or using our website, Customer agree to be bound by and accepts these Terms and Conditions, unless customer and Go Filings have signed a separate agreement, in which case the separate agreement will govern. Any general description of the types of products or services and results thereof posted on any Go Filings website or mobile app do not constitute part of the agreement between Go Filings and Customer.

Important Information About These Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a binding contract between Go Filings and Customer and are referred to herein as either “Terms and Conditions” or this “Agreement”. Customer accepts these Terms and Conditions by making a purchase from or placing an order with Seller or shopping on any Go Filings Website or Mobile Application (each, a “Site”) or otherwise requesting products (the “Products”) or engaging Seller to perform or procure any Services (as this and all capitalized terms are defined herein). These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice, except that the Terms and Conditions posted on a Site at the time Customer places an order or signs a Statement of Work will govern the order in question, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Seller and Customer.
Customer consents to receiving electronic records, which may be provided via a Web browser or e-mail application connected to the Internet; individual consumers may withdraw consent to receiving electronic records or have the record provided in non-electronic form by contacting Seller. In addition, Internet connectivity requires access services from an Internet access provider. Contact your local access provider for details. Electronic signatures (or copies of signatures sent via electronic means) are the equivalent of written and signed documents.
Customer may issue a purchase order for administrative purposes only. Additional or different terms and conditions contained in any such purchase order will be null and void. No course of prior dealings between the parties and no usage of trade will be relevant to determine the meaning of these Terms and Conditions or any purchase order or invoice, or any document in electronic or written form that is signed and delivered by each of the parties for the performance of Services other than Third Party Services (each, a “Statement of Work”). This Agreement contains the entire understanding of the parties with respect to the matters contained herein and supersedes and replaces in its entirety any and all prior communications and contemporaneous agreements and understandings, whether oral, written, electronic or implied, if any, between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions and Privacy policy do not use Go Filings or Gofilings.com. “Using” Go Filings or Gofilings.com means browsing the website, clicking links, using a service offering, etc.

Services Provided

Our service is the act of filing for/requesting the seller’s permit through the CA state office for the client. Although non-delivery of a permit is extremely rare, we cannot guarantee delivery. Our service fee is simply the fee for us to file for/request the seller’s permit for the client.

This service is non-refundable, and we do not make exceptions.

Often times we are required to collect a copy of a photo ID, an account number, or other info to complete a filing. We will request this info by email, and it is the customer’s responsibility to reply in a timely manner. Failure to reply to our request DOES NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE entitle a refund.

In rare cases, seller’s permit requests can be denied or put on hold by the state. This type of situation also does not entitle a refund, because our service is just to file the seller’s permit request. If a permit request is denied or put on hold by the state, we will provide contact info for the state to resolve whatever the issue is. If a permit is denied or put on hold, it’s usually because the the applicant/entity has outstanding tax liability or unfiled returns.

Refund/Cancellation/Return Policy

Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded under any circumstance. In the order process, you must actively check a box to confirm and agree to this policy.


Go Filings charges a fee to process, prepare, send, retrieve or file government paperwork or online filings. We do not charge any recurring fees – all service fees are “a la carte”. There may be a separate government fee for the customer to file this paperwork with the appropriate government agency. Go Filings processing fees often do not dot always cover any additional government or other fees that may be required by the issuing government agency. The checkout page for any of our services will clearly state whether or not our service includes or does not include any government fees.

Identification/Documentation/Additional Information Requirements

Often times we are required by the government office to collect a form of identification, or additional information or documentation from a client. The applicant is responsible for responding to all requests in a timely manner, and you understand that any delay in response or no response will cause a delay or suspension in processing. You agree that failure to respond to our document request emails does not entitle You to a refund. 

Some examples of items that may be requested are: photo ID, a copy of Articles of Incorporation, a copy of other business documents, and existing account number, a copy of an EIN, an existing account number for a seller’s permit, etc.

Disputes & Collections

Any charge disputed through a financial institution will be assessed a $50 fee to cover damages caused by the dispute, as well as a $50 fee for collections. 


You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Go Filings and Gofilings.com, its subsidiaries, directors, officers, owners, agents, employees, information providers, licensors, licensees, consultants, contractors and other applicable third parties (collectively, “indemnified Parties”), at your expense, from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liability, debt, penalties, fines, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees and other dispute resolution expenses) incurred by the Indemnified Parties arising out of, related to, or which may arise from: (a) your misuse of the website or the Go Filings; (b) any breach or non-compliance by You of any term of this Agreement, any other Go Filings policy, or any third party’s terms and conditions; (c) any dispute or litigation caused by your actions or omissions; or (d) negligence or violation or alleged violation of any law or rights of a third party.

This privacy policy sets out how Go Filings uses and protects any information that you give Go Filings when you use this website. Go Filings is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Go Filings may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.
What we collect
We may collect the following information:

  • Name
  • Contact information including email address
  • Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
  • Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers
  • SSN/EIN and other information required for a particular government filing

What we do with the information we gather:

We use your information for nothing other than to perform the service or file your request with the required government agency, to deliver your order, and to communicate with you. For example, if we ask for your SSN, name, and email address for a particular filing order: the SSN is requested because the issuing government office requires it for the particular filing, and we use your name and email address for communication and order delivery to you. We do not sell, rent, or use your information to anybody. Your info is only used to complete the service you request, to deliver it to you, and to communicate with you.


We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
How we use cookies
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive.   • Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. Entire Agreement 

These Terms, are the entire and exclusive agreement between Go Filings and You regarding the Services (excluding any services for which You have a separate agreement with Go Filings that is explicitly in addition or in place of these Terms), and these Terms supersede and replace any prior agreements between Go Filings and You regarding the Services. Other than You and Go Filings, no other person or company will be third party beneficiaries to the Terms. By continuing to access or use the Services after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
